Daniel Coyle is one of Ireland's leading show jumpers, based in Canada. As he was born into a horse family, he started riding at the age of 8. In 2016 he moved from Ireland to Canada to become a resident rider for the Granges at their Lothlorien Farm in Cheltenham. That started his successful career, influenced by the Holsteiner mare Cita, with who he won his first World Cup, Nations Cup, and five-star Grand Prix. As a part of Ireland's winning Team at the Nations Cup of Canada at Thunderbird Show Park in 2018, he was able to take home one of his most valuable victories. Last year at the European Championships in 2021, he got 10th in the individual with Zangersheide Mare Legacy, his current top horse. Flying from one top placing to the next they ranked second at the Final CSI4* LEG of the North American League in Live Oak last weekend!
