The Retirement of Clinta

"Clinta is without question the highest quality athlete I have ever ridden..." - Mclain Ward. Clinta has been Mclain Ward's top horse, competing and having great success in big shows such as Aachen, Tryon, Longines Masters Of New York (their first win), Geneva, Dinard, and more. Due to an earlier injury, and after great efforts to heal it, we say goodbye to Clinta as she retires from jumping. The German-bred Oldenburg mare (Clinton—Last Flight x Lord Pezi) was first discovered by Mclain at the CHIO Aachen in 2017 and after seven months of negations with previous owner Paul Schockemöhle, Clinta has been an outstanding partner ever since, making it to the highest level of competitions. Check out these highlights of their rides! Also featuring rides from previous rider, Philip Rüping.
