Adrienne Sternlicht took up riding at age 6 and decided to focus on riding full-time after finishing University in 2016. Having trained with U.S. Olympic double gold medalist McLain Ward in 2015 it was no surprise that she decided to train with him full time after launching her professional career. In May 2017, Sternlicht made her Nations Cup debut with Cristalline at the FEI Nations Cup™ CSIO4* Coapexpan in Mexico, where they managed to win the team silver medal. Ever since then, Sternlicht has been a staple in the U.S. Team. At the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon she and Cristalline aided the U.S. team in their historic victory, bringing home the gold medal for the U.S. for the first time in 36 years.
