    Tony Stormanns was the last to go yet finished in first in the $1,000 1.40 meter CSIU25 Speed class Wednesday at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) Ocala. HIs time of 58.60 with the 14-year-old Selle Francais stallion RMF Clinton Son bested runner-up Laurel Walker and the 16-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding Armani, who stopped the finish timers at 60.25 seconds.

    Ben Maher of Great Britain kicked off Wellington's 2026 Winter Equestrian Festival Wednesday with a victory on the U.S.-owned Ginger-Blue.Ben, ranked No. 4 in the world, on the 15-year-old mare topped the starting lineup of 37 combinations in a time of 58.753 secs.The horse, owned by Jane Forbes Clark, has been competed successfully on both sides of the Atlantic by Ben for the past six years.
