International show jumping talent filled the arena for the $32,000 1.45m CSI3* at the Ocala Winter Spectacular Show Series II, drawing a large and competitive field of riders from around the world.
Spooner Claims the Win
Richard A. Spooner rose to the top of the leaderboard aboard Lyjanair, owned by Show Jumping Syndications Int’l, delivering a standout performance to secure first place in the marquee class. Spooner’s polished ride and strategic approach through the demanding 1.45m track proved decisive against the deep international lineup.
Blanchette Takes Second
Second place honors went to Ireland’s Robert Blanchette riding Chardonnay. Blanchette produced a strong, composed round that held up under pressure and earned his place just behind the winning pair.
Wordley Completes the Podium
Rounding out the podium was Australia’s Sharn L. Wordley aboard Champion League. Wordley’s confident and consistent effort secured third place in a class that tested both precision and scope.

Carlee McCutcheon and Coco Mercedes, a13-year-old Westphalian mare, won the $32,000 1.45 meter CSIU25 Grand Prix after being the final pair to go in the jump-off.Tony Stormanns of Germany was the runner-up with the12-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding RMF Cinnamo.Emma Brody finished third with Charlie Ps, a 15-year-old Hanoverian mare.

Kent Farrington Wins the $62,500 Grand Prix Qualifier at WEC
World No. 1 Kent Farrington and his 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare Orafina collected another WEC cooler as the winners of the $62,500 Grand Prix Qualifier at WEC Ocala on Thursday. Ireland's Daniel Coyle and the 16-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding Farrel came in second, and Carlee McCutcheon with Aralyn Blue, a 15-year-old Oldenburg mare, finished third.
