World No. 1 Kent Farrington and his 14-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare Orafina collected another WEC cooler as the winners of the $62,500 Grand Prix Qualifier at WEC Ocala on Thursday. Ireland's Daniel Coyle and the 16-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding Farrel came in second, and Carlee McCutcheon with Aralyn Blue, a 15-year-old Oldenburg mare, finished third.
On to the jump-off
Farrington was third to go in the jump-off and first double clear with a time of 34.47, which could not be beat in the 1.50-meter class.
Fifteen riders in a field of 24 advanced to the jump-off, with five going double-clear. Morgan Ward-Knowlton and GF Diego qualified for the jump-off but withdrew.

Farrington's entry number - 111 - though coincidental, speaks to the wins he's already racking up during the first two weeks of the WEC Ocala winter circuit.
Last week was the opening week of the Winter Spectacular, during which he won a few classes, including the $15,000 Futures Prix aboard Orafina.
