Samuel Hutton Takes the CSI3* Winning Round Victory at WEC

Great Britain's Samuel Hutton and the 12-year-old Selle Francais mare Etincelle D'ellipse took the $32,000 CSI3* Winning Round at WEC Ocala Friday morning. Aaron Vale, one of two U.S. entries, missed the top spot in the 1.45-meter class by six hundredths of a second in the jump-off with I.adermie R 4, a 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare.

It was a trifecta of mares in first, second, and third as Luis Sabino Gonçalves took third with the 9-year-old Zangersheide Gallaxia de Ferval Z.

Hutton earned another ribbon in the class at the Winter Spectacular II. He was fifth with Zidan 10.

2 Aaron Vale (U.S.) - I.ADERMIE R 4 - 0/34.27

3 Luis Sabino Gonçalves (Portugal) - GALLAXIA DE FERVAL Z - 0/35.00

The other U.S. entry in the field of nine was Victoria Ketchum and Zara de Laubry Z, who finished ninth.
