Kent Farrington into 2026 as world No. 1 for 9th straight month

Kent Farrington moves into 2026 as No. 1 in. the world for the ninth straight month leading three Americans in the top 10. Laura Kraut remains at No. 7 while Mclain Ward climbs to 9th, up from 11th.

Kent solidfied his lead at the top of the standings with a win on Greya in the Rolex Grand Slam of Jumping in Geneva in December.

He first became No. 1 this time around in April last year. He was at the top for an entire year from April 2017 through March 2018.

All three riders are based in Wellington, Florida for the three months of the Winter Equestrian Festival,

With no changes over the past month in the top seven standings, Scott Brash of Great Britain is No. 2, Christian Kukuk of Germany 3rd, Briton Ben Maher 4th, Thomas Gilles of Belgium 5th and Germany's Richard Vogel 6th. Laura Kraut remains the highest placed woman at 7th.

Rising French star and top ranked Under-25 rider Nina Mallevaey climbs to her hgihest ever senior ranking of 8th up from 12th at the end of November based mostly on results in North America. French compatriot Julien Epaillard rounds out the top 10.
