    In the latest edition of the LONGINES Ranking, the world rankings for show jumpers, Kent Farrington remains the undisputed number 1 in the world. Behind him, Scott Brash and Ben Maher swapped places 2 and 3, meaning that Brash now holds second place and Maher third.Just 72 points behind Ben Maher, Christian Kukuk places directly behind him in fourth place.

  • Vagabond de la Pomme passes away at age 20

    Vagabond de la Pomme, who was highly successful both in sport and as a sire, is no longer alive. According to the Haras de Clarbec stud farm, the stallion sadly passed away on October 29 at the age of 20. With Pénélope Leprévost, Vagabond de la Pomme was an integral part of the French equestrian team for many years and also shaped modern show jumping horse breeding through his offspring.

  • Change to the FEI blood rule?

    A possible change to the "Blood Rule" will be put to the vote at the FEI General Assembly in November. The proposal comes from the International Jumping Riders Club (IJRC) and provides for disqualification to be waived in certain cases. Instead, warnings or continued riding after veterinary clearance could be possible.
