Spain's Francisco Goyoaga Mollet steered PST De Muze to victory Saturday night in the Wellington International $50,000 national Grand Prix. Mares filled the top three place.
Francisco took over the ride on the 10-year-old Belgian mare 18 months ago The duo was one of six combinations to go double clear but the pair's jump off time of 33.341 secs. was the fastest. Based at Sigma Stables in Ocala, Francisco has one international victory on the mare in their career so far.
USA's Carly Anthony on Mullentine Shalom, 11-year-old Irish mare, was close behind on 33.341 secs.
Samuel Parot, of Chile but based in the USA, placed third on Tiffany de Olid, 13-year-old Spanish mare in a time of 35.201 secs.
