Slings achieved international fame for his musical contributions to dressage, among other things. No SurrenderNo Surrender was a KWPN gelding born in 2018, sired by Charmeur and out of Aronia, who is by Rousseau. The horse was bred by H. Vingerhoets.

Recently, six horses in Los Angeles County, California, were confirmed to have tested positive for equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1). The initial report on May 16 involved two horses: a 20-year-old Thoroughbred mare, which was subsequently euthanized, and a 28-year-old warmblood mare. Following these cases, authorities placed 95 horses that were potentially exposed under quarantine.
