EHV-1 Confirmed at a Florida Boarding Facility
A horse at a boarding facility in Palm Beach County as been diagnosed with EHV-1, accordiing to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.The infected horse is under quarantine, while 52 other horses may have been exposed to the virus. Nothing else has been officially reported as of the publishing of this article.

Ben Maher of Great Britain kicked off Wellington's 2026 Winter Equestrian Festival Wednesday with a victory on the U.S.-owned Ginger-Blue.Ben, ranked No. 4 in the world, on the 15-year-old mare topped the starting lineup of 37 combinations in a time of 58.753 secs.The horse, owned by Jane Forbes Clark, has been competed successfully on both sides of the Atlantic by Ben for the past six years.
