The winter equestrian season is in full swing, and this week's lineup is nothing short of spectacular. From the sunny arenas of Florida and California to the high-altitude thrills of Puebla, Mexico, the world’s elite riders are out in force.

Whether you’re following the road to the World Cup or cheering on collegiate athletes, here is your guide to the action happening February 3–8, 2026.

Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ NAL – Puebla (MEX)

The North American League heads to the stunning Quinta Ecuestre venue in Puebla. This is a critical stop for riders looking to secure points for the 2026 World Cup Final. Expect high-stakes drama as athletes navigate technical courses in one of Mexico's most beautiful competitive settings.

  • Highlight: The World Cup Qualifier on Saturday, February 7.
WEF V – CSI5* (Wellington, FL)

The Winter Equestrian Festival hits a major milestone this week with its first CSI5* rating of the season. Wellington International will host the world's top-ranked riders for the $500,000 Fidelity Investments® Grand Prix.

Adequan® Global Dressage Festival V (Wellington, FL)

Just down the road, the focus shifts to "ballet on horseback." Week V features CDI4* and CDI-W international competition. This week is a showcase of precision and harmony as riders vie for international rankings.

Ocala Winter Spectacular VI (Ocala, FL)

The World Equestrian Center (WEC) Ocala continues its 12-week circuit with CSI4* competition. A major highlight this week is the 2026 WEC Premier Equitation Cup Championship, where the nation’s top junior riders compete for a prestigious title and a brand-new car.

Desert Circuit V (Thermal, CA)

Out West, the Desert International Horse Park is humming with activity. Week V is a WCHR (World Championship Hunter Rider) week, meaning the hunters take center stage in the main Grand Prix arena for specialized derbies and championships.

HITS Ocala Winter Classic IV (Ocala, FL)

The HITS Post Time Farm continues its storied winter circuit, offering a full range of hunter and jumper classes. Known for its professional atmosphere, HITS remains a staple for riders looking for top-level competition in the heart of Florida horse country.

World Equestrian Center Ohio Winter Classic #9 (Wilmington, OH)

For those braving the northern winter, WEC Ohio provides a world-class climate-controlled environment. Week #9 continues to offer a heavy schedule of hunter and jumper action in its signature spacious indoor arenas.

NCAA Equestrian: UC Davis vs. Minnesota Crookston

The collegiate season brings a unique energy to the sport. This head-to-head meet features the UC Davis Aggies hosting Minnesota Crookston. Watch for the "catch-ride" format, where riders are assigned a horse they’ve never met just minutes before competing.

    Taylor Bradish, from South Carolina, and the 10-year-old gelding Mister Chip, won the 3* Single Horse division at the Combined Driving Event (CDE3*) at TerraNova, in Myakka City, Florida, over the weekend. Despite knocking down a ball late in the cones course on the final day, Sunday, January 25, Bradish and the Dutch Warmblood Mister Chip took the win in the pair's first 3* together.
