Anna Tyler piloted Mia Thomasson’s Affirm (For Pleasure x Chicella) to victory in the $15,000 USHJA National 3’ Junior/Amateur Hunter Derby with two polished performances.

Solid Opening Round Sets the Stage

Tyler and the talented gelding delivered a composed first-round effort, earning a score of 90 to sit third heading into the handy round.

Handy Round Pushes Pair to the Top

With the pressure on, Tyler guided Affirm through a fluid and confident handy round that earned an impressive score of 94. Their combined total of 184 proved untouchable, allowing the pair to climb the leaderboard and secure the win.
