Lexington, KY – After a thrilling day of cross-country action at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event, Michael Jung and his superstar partner FischerChipmunk FRH continue to dominate, maintaining their lead with an impressive score of 21.0 heading into the final phase.

The German Olympic champion delivered a cross-country round that lived up to the high expectations set by his record-breaking dressage score, showcasing precision, bravery, and brilliance.

Sitting in second is Boyd Martin (USA) aboard Commando 3, who produced a gutsy and determined round to hold a score of 32.8. Close behind is Harry Meade (GBR) riding Tenareze, who moved up the leaderboard to third with a score of 34.2 after a clear and fast trip around the demanding course.

With less than two rails separating the podium contenders, Sunday’s show jumping promises an exciting and dramatic conclusion. Will Jung seal the deal for another Kentucky title, or will pressure and tight margins open the door for Martin or Meade to strike?

Stay tuned as the world’s best eventers return to the Rolex Stadium for the final phase!
