A Quarter Horse mare has been saved from silver maple toxicosis through hemodialysis for the first time. The horse arrived at the Ohio State University clinic approximately 12 hours after beginning to show symptoms of maple poisoning.

The 2025 show season has commenced for elite dressage riders in Portugal, but it is marked by the absence of a team trainer and an unclear competition strategy. The Portuguese Equestrian Federation (FEP) has not appointed a new dressage committee nor extended the contract with team trainer Kyra Kyrklund.
