JJ Torano Receives Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month Award

JJ Torano from Wellington, FL, has been awarded the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month Award for March 2025, marking his second consecutive month receiving this honor. Torano is a junior rider competing in the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series’ East Conference presented by Rood & Riddle. Throughout March at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, he consistently achieved top finishes in the $10,000 SJHOF 1.45m Junior Jumper classes. His month started with an eighth-place finish on Lyon 50 at WEF 8, followed by a third and eighth place on Good Mood Semilly and Concentalla PS at WEF 9.
He went on to secure a fourth place with Lyon 50 at WEF 10, and at WEF 11, he earned the title with Good Mood Semilly, finishing second on Lyon 50 and gaining notable positions on HH Jamil Field and Vitus K. To end the month, Torano gained podium finishes with Kochio Z and Chewbacca HCC at WEF 12, along with another strong finish on Lyon 50. These consistent performances contributed to his recognition as Rider of the Month.
The Show Jumping Hall of Fame, located at the Kentucky Horse Park, promotes the sport of show jumping and holds prestigious events. The Jumper Classic Series hosts classes for junior and amateur riders and culminates in annual finals featuring opportunities for further recognition.
