The United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation has introduced the USET Foundation Performance Pathway Grant Program. This initiative seeks to eliminate financial obstacles for American equestrian athletes aspiring to compete internationally. The program aims to provide essential financial assistance to athletes engaged in high-performance jumping, enabling them to focus on their competitive pursuits.
How it Helps
According to USET Foundation Executive Director Bonnie B. Jenkins, the program will significantly benefit young jumping athletes by easing their financial burden. USET Foundation President and CEO Kristi Mitchem emphasized the initiative's goal to support talented riders by reducing financial obstacles. The program relies on support from contributors such as Jennifer Gates Nassar and Nayel Nassar at Evergate Stables.
How to Qualify
To qualify for the grant, applicants must be active USEF members, U.S. citizens, and have been chosen for a USEF High Performance Jumping team or program, demonstrating financial need in the process. The review of applications will be conducted by a committee comprised of knowledgeable members from the sport.
