Laura Kraut withdraws from World Cup Final

Laura Kraut (USA) has withdrawn from the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final 2025 in Basel after her top horse Baloutinue sustained a minor injury.

Initially selected as one of nine U.S. riders for the Final, Kraut decided in consultation with her team to give the gelding time to recover.

Speaking to worldofshowjumping.com, Kraut explained that while the injury is not serious, it is too soon to ask Baloutinue to compete at the highest level. The pair will now focus on preparations for the upcoming European season.
