The Equestrian Qualification systems for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics Games were approved at the FEI General Assembly 2025, and by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board during their meeting earlier this month (December 2025).
Topics laid out in detail for jumping, dressage, and eventing
Several qualification areas are explained, including quota places, athlete eligibility (including age requirements for athletes and horses), the qualification pathway,(team and individual qualification parameters), minimum eligibility requirements, alternate athletes and reserve horses, qualification timeline, reallocation of unused team quota places excluding the host country, and unused individual quota places.
