Adrienne Lyle and her Olympic partner Helix delivered a solid performance in the FEI Grand Prix at the 2025 FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final in Basel, finishing ninth with a score of 72.565%. The pair impressed with a mistake-free test in their first indoor championship together.
Seventeen combinations contested the class, which serves as the qualifier for Saturday’s Freestyle, where the 2025 champion will be crowned. The freestyle begins at 7:30 p.m. (GMT+2).
Kevin Kohmann and Duenensee, also representing the U.S., placed 14th with a 69.130%, showing improvement in their second Final appearance. Meanwhile, Genay Vaughn and Gino, in their debut Final, worked through nerves and gained valuable experience ahead of their Freestyle performance, where they will be the first to compete.
U.S. Chef d’Équipe Christine Traurig praised the performances and highlighted the continued development of all three combinations, particularly the growing connection between Lyle and Helix. The Grand Prix tests showcased strong extended work and increasing confidence from the American team as they look ahead to Saturday’s final showdown.
