Global Stars Set to Compete in the CSI5* Rolex U.S. Equestrian Open Grand Prix During WEF’s Final Week

The 2025 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) is entering its highly anticipated final week, drawing the world’s top show jumping athletes to Wellington International for an electrifying conclusion. This CSI5* Rolex Final Week promises elite sport, culminating in one of the most prestigious events of the season—the Rolex U.S. Equestrian Open Grand Prix, scheduled under the iconic ‘Saturday Night Lights’ on March 29th.


What to Expect


The grand finale will showcase the sport’s brightest stars, with six of the world’s top 10 ranked riders confirmed to compete. Among them are Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), current World No. 1, Kent Farrington (USA), Ben Maher (GBR), Christian Kukuk (GER), McLain Ward (USA), and Richard Vogel (GER)—each bringing their world-class horsepower and Olympic-level experience to the famed International Arena.


A Night to Remember


The atmosphere is set for a thrilling night of competition as these international powerhouses battle it out for one of the largest purses of the circuit and the honor of adding their name to the prestigious Rolex U.S. Equestrian Open title.
