Entry List for Defender Kentucky CCI5*-L Continues to Decrease
Several competitors withdraw ahead of the event scheduled for April 24-27

The entry list for this year’s Defender Kentucky CCI5*-L has reduced from an initial 42 competitors, with notable withdrawals. Great Britain's Tom McEwen has decided to withdraw his horse, JL Dublin, who has been his partner in achieving team gold at the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympic Games. McEwen and JL Dublin, previously finished second at Kentucky for the last two years, will now compete in the Mars Badminton CCI5*-L, occurring two weeks later from May 7-11.
Another competitor, Irish rider Joseph Murphy, has also withdrawn Calmaro, who placed ninth at Kentucky in 2022. They are among a group of nine combinations that are also entered at Badminton. A full list of entries will be updated as information becomes available.
