John Deere Returns as Official Equipment Provider for 2025 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event

Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI) has announced the return of John Deere as the Official Equipment Provider for the upcoming 2025 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrian™. This event will occur at the Kentucky Horse Park from April 24-27 and is recognized as one of only seven annual 5* three-day events globally. The Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event aims to support the development of equestrian sports through high-level competitions, attracting nearly 90,000 spectators who enjoy shopping, hospitality experiences, and various demonstrations.

As part of the event, participants will compete in the traditional CCI5*-L and the Cosequin® Lexington 4*, a qualifier for the US Equestrian Open Eventing Series, along with the Kentucky International CSI5* presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. Molly Day, Executive Director of EEI, highlighted the valued partnership with John Deere, noting the company’s respected presence in the equine community.

John Deere, a leading manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment, also emphasizes sustainable practices and innovation in its products. Steve Driskill from NTRA Advantage expressed pride in the collaboration, which provides important savings for the Sporthorse industry and supports the growth of the sport. This partnership signifies a continuation of shared goals between EEI and John Deere.
