Natalie Dean from the United States has been awarded the Overall Leading Lady Rider Award at the 2025 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, Florida.
This award is based on the accumulation of points garnered through performances in the WEF Challenge Cup and grand prix events held each week during the festival. Dean's consistent performance led her to win back-to-back weekly awards during weeks 5 and 6, enabling her to finish with a total of 662 points. Emilie Conter from Belgium was a close runner-up with 653 points, despite not securing a weekly award. Lillie Keenan, also from the United States, claimed third place overall with 502 points after winning the weekly award in week 8.
Dean expressed her gratitude to Martha Jolicoeur for sponsoring the award, emphasizing the significance of the recognition for her and her team. As part of her achievement, Dean received a distinctive jump designed by Dalman Jump Co., which symbolizes her 2025 Overall Leading Lady Rider title. Jolicoeur, a key sponsor since 2010, noted the importance of this accolade in the equestrian community, highlighting Dean's well-deserved success after a commendable season.
Jolicoeur specializes in equestrian real estate and continues to support the community through her professional services.
