The second and final day of the FEI Sports Forum 2025 opened with a session focused on the future leadership of the organisation. Discussions centred on the profile and job description of the next FEI President ahead of the 2026 election. Janice Shardlow, Chair of the FEI Audit and Compliance Committee, and ASOIF Executive Director James Carr led the session. A formal job description and any related rule changes will be submitted for vote at the FEI General Assembly later this year.
The day continued with key proposals for the full revisions of the FEI Eventing Rules and the FEI Driving and Para Driving Rules. These updates were presented in Sessions 6 and 7, forming a central part of the day’s agenda.
The final session featured an update from the FEI Officials Working Group, moderated by FEI Honorary Vice President Mark Samuel. He highlighted ongoing efforts to support and develop officials across all disciplines.
In closing, FEI Secretary General Sabrina Ibáñez reflected on the high level of discussion throughout the forum and thanked panellists, moderators, and delegates for their contributions. She also acknowledged the FEI HQ team for successfully delivering the annual event.
Session summaries, presentation downloads, and full replays are now available via the FEI Sports Forum 2025 online hub.
