The headline event of the day, the Grand Prix CDI4* presented by MARS Equestrian, turned into a family affair with a dazzling one-two finish for the Ebelings. Rising star Benjamin Ebeling (USA) and Bellena, owned by Vantage Equestrian Group, claimed the win with a polished and expressive test, earning a 68.717% from the esteemed international judging panel.
Not far behind, Benjamin’s father, Jan Ebeling (USA), guided Jubi’s Tenacity—a 15-year-old Danish Warmblood mare owned by Ann Romney—to a strong second-place finish with 68.065%, making it a memorable evening for the father-son duo.
Denielle Gallagher (CAN) and Come Back de Massa, a 13-year-old Lusitano gelding owned by Gallagher and Ellen Lazarus, secured third place with a commendable 67.630%, rounding out a competitive class filled with international talent.
Despite their partnership beginning just this past February, Ebeling and Bellena have already made a name for themselves, consistently landing in the top five and securing two CDI3* victories last week alone. Their win today adds another milestone to their fast-growing résumé.
With world-class performances, international flair, and a heartwarming family podium, the April Dressage CDI4* at WEC Ocala is where the action happens.
