International show jumping talent filled the arena for the $32,000 FEI 3* Adequan WEF Challenge Round 1, where speed and precision were paramount as top combinations vied for early-season supremacy at the Winter Equestrian Festival.
Mallevaey and Destine To Be Take the Win
France’s Nina Mallevaey delivered a standout performance aboard Destine To Be, rising to the top of the leaderboard with an efficient and fearless jump-off round that stopped the clock in 33.1 seconds. Demonstrating bold pace and sharp turns, Mallevaey left nothing on the table, guiding Destine To Be to victory in a highly competitive field.
Sweetnam Secures Second
Second place honors went to Ireland’s Olivia Sweetnam riding Epic. The pair produced a polished, quick round that kept pressure on the leaders throughout the jump-off, proving their mettle in the early-season showdown.
Kraut Completes the Podium
Close behind, Olympic veteran Laura Kraut claimed third place aboard Dorado 212, adding another strong international result to her decorated résumé and showcasing her consistent ability at the FEI 3* level.
