Under the Friday night lights at Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) Toronto, Maccabi United rose to the occasion to claim the $312,500 Cabana Coast 5* Team Competition, the second stop on the Season 5 tour. The win marked the franchise’s second-ever team victory since joining The League under Bluman Equestrian ownership last year.
United Effort Secures Gold
Mark Bluman delivered the decisive clear round aboard Concare PS to secure the gold, backed by strong performances from Thaisa Erwin with Halita B and Daniel Bluman riding Hummer Z. Erwin produced one of only six fault-free trips over Olaf Peterson Jr.’s demanding track, while Daniel Bluman’s lightning-fast 68.86 second round gave the team critical momentum heading into the medal showdown.
Trailblazers Take Silver
In the gold round, Mark Bluman faced off against Nayel Nassar and Donvier for the Trelawny Trailblazers. Two rails down for Nassar sealed the victory for Maccabi United, leaving the Trailblazers—also represented by Lillie Keenan with Kick On and Conor Swail on Casturano—to settle for silver.
Rainmakers Earn Historic Bronze
The bronze medal came down to a jump-off duel between Leg 1 winners Helios and The League newcomers, the Rainmakers. Jordan Coyle clinched the podium for the Rainmakers aboard King Kannan GP by defeating Helios owner Genevieve Meyer and Mylord Myles in the opener, giving the team their first-ever MLSJ medal.
