Daniel Coyle Continues His Winning Streak at WEC Ocala

Ireland's Daniel Coyle continued at the top to begin week six of the Winter Spectacular at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) in Ocala. The new world No. 9 won the $32,000 CSI4* Speed class aboard the 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding Calippo 57, a bit less than a quarter of a second ahead of second place. In fact, Coyle won by less than half a second over third place.

Close finishes for the top three

Chile's Samuel Parot and the14-year-old Spanish Sport Horse mare Tiffany de Olid were close behind in second place in the 1.45-meter class, 0.23 of a second behind first.

American Natalie Dean and Dotcom d' Authuit, a 13-year-old Selle Francais mare, took third, 0.22 of a second behind second place.

The top three finishers were spread throughout the order of go, with Natalie Dean going second, Samuel Parot 11 trips later, and Daniel Coyle entering the ring 23rd in the field of 27.

Daniel Coyle continues a winning streak

Coyle has been enjoying much success lately at WEC Ocala. He won Saturday night’s CSI4* Grand Prix with Farrel and, less than 24 hours later, prevailed in the $65,000 FEI Grand Prix CSI2* aboard his new partner, Urville Z.
