Lexington 4-S joins US Eventing Series*

The Cosequin Lexington CCI4*-S will serve as a qualifier for the new US Equestrian Open Eventing Series when the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event returns to the Kentucky Horse Park from April 24–27, 2025.

While the iconic CCI5* offers $400,000, the 4*-S class now adds extra stakes as part of a national 20-leg series leading to a $200,000 final at Morven Park CCI4*-L in October. An additional $50,000 will be awarded to the top three ranked combinations after the qualifying season.

Olympic veteran Phillip Dutton currently leads the rankings, with events like Carolina International, TerraNova, and Galway Downs already in play. After Lexington, the Series continues to top venues including Tryon, Aspen Farm, Rebecca Farm, and Plantation Field—building toward a high-stakes finale in Virginia.
