The Selle Français stallion Drako de Maugre, a son of Kannan, is set to continue his career in the United States. The twelve-year-old stallion, who won the German Championship title last year with Patrick Stühlmeyer, has been sold to a new rider, Paris Sellon.
Stühlmeyer shared an emotional farewell on social media, expressing gratitude for the partnership and the lessons learned. He highlighted Drako's intelligence, work ethic, and competitive spirit. Together, Stühlmeyer and Drako de Maugre achieved notable successes internationally, including a third-place finish in the 1.60m class at CHIO Aachen and a fourth-place finish in the Agria Nations Cup at CHIO5* Hickstead.
With this transition to the United States, Drako de Maugre begins a new chapter in his career, and the show jumping community will be watching his progress under Sellon’s guidance.
