April Dressage CDI4* Kicks Off at World Equestrian Center Ocala
Ebeling family shines in Grand Prix competition

The April Dressage CDI4*, presented by Hampton Green Farm, began on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida. Competitors took to the WEC Grand Arena, showcasing their skills in front of an expert judging panel.
Benjamin Ebeling from the USA secured first place riding Bellena, a horse co-owned by Vantage Equestrian Group, earning a score of 68.717%. His father, Jan Ebeling, followed closely behind in second place with a score of 68.065%, riding Jubi's Tenacity, a Danish Warmblood mare owned by Ann Romney. In third position was Denielle Gallagher from Canada with her Lusitano gelding, Come Back de Massa, scoring 67.630%.
Benjamin Ebeling, who transitioned to ride Bellena after training under his father's guidance, expressed his excitement about their early partnership and the learning process involved. He noted the importance of adjusting his riding to suit Bellena's unique style. Alexandra Duncan and Hitmaker won the Grand Prix CDI3* with a score of 68.413% in their first competition together. Duncan praised Hitmaker's focus during the performance, as they continue to build their relationship. The event is set to continue with various classes, including the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI4* and other competitive divisions scheduled for the following days.
