The final week of the 2025 Summer Series at World Equestrian Center – Ocala opened with international firepower in the $32,000 MARS Equestrian Grand Prix Qualifier CSI3*. Thirty-five combinations from 17 nations battled for top honors, but it was Brazil’s Celso Ariani who stole the spotlight aboard Jip Van T&L Z (James Vd Kornelishoeve x Toulon).
The track produced seven clears, setting the stage for a high-stakes jump-off featuring talent from Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Canada, the USA, Israel, and Colombia.
First back in, Argentina’s Luis Pedro Biraben and La Cuadra Stables, LLC’s Georgina De Carles—a lightning-fast nine-year-old Selle Français mare—laid down a bold clear in 43.58 seconds, putting the rest of the field on notice. However, Ariani and his 10-year-old Zangersheide gelding had their own plan: a brilliant, forward ride that sliced seconds off the clock to take the lead.
Colombia’s Fernando Cardenas closed the podium, piloting Cool Ray Na (Quincy Car x Kannan) to a polished clear in 46.17 seconds.
With this win, Ariani not only topped a world-class field but also set the tone for what promises to be a thrilling finale week in Ocala.
