Team Competition Final is a Highlight

The $62,500 1.50m FEI5* MLSJ Individual Speed class is first up today for Major League Show Jumping (MLSJ) in Thermal, California. There are 11 entries, including Laura Kraut with the Westphalian mare Una Mariposa and Aaron Vale with the 11-year-old Czech Warmblood gelding Gray's Inn.

The Individual Speed class begins at 8 pm EST.
Team Final will close out the day
The $200,000 1.50m FEI5* Team Competition final follows the Individual Speed class at the Palm Springs show. The top four teams from last week's Coachella Cup team competition will battle for champion bragging rights tonight. Team Maccabi United won last week, and the Archers team finished second. Some of the team members will not compete this evening as they are show jumping at the CHI Geneva.
Those team members competing this week in Geneva are: Philippaerts (Archers), Richard Vogel (Helios), and Kyle King (Northern Lights).
U.S. MLSJ Team members
Aaron Vale, Alex Matz, and Callie Schott are part of the Archers team.
Genevieve Mayer belongs to team Helios.
Jessica Springsteen is with Northern Lights.
There are no U.S. riders on the leading team - Maccabi United - yet ones to watch include Israel's Daniel Bluman and Colombia's Mark Bluman. Daniel Bluman is the current leader in MLSJ individual standings.
The Team Competition starts at 9:10 pm EST.
