A report on stallions that sired the most Oldenburg-registered foals in Germany for 2024 indicates a correlation with Hanoverian-registered foals in the same year.
Stallions Dynamic Dream, Bon Esprit, V-Power, Escanto PS, and Escaneno appear in the top ten for both federations. The stallion with the highest number of Hanoverian foals in 2024 is Dynamic Dream, a son of Dream Boy, followed by Vitalis, an 18-year-old son of Vivaldi, who remains a preferred choice among dressage breeders in the Oldenburg Association. Vitalis also maintains a position in the top ten for KWPN stallions.
The top ten list is predominantly represented by the Vivaldi line, with four stallions, while Escamillo and his sons, along with three stallions from the B-line, are also featured. Paul Schockemöhle, now 80 years old, has played a crucial role in the Oldenburg Association for many years. The leading stallions—Dynamic Dream, Vitalis, Escamillo, and V-Power—along with Escanto PS and Sebastino PS, are offered through Deckstation Schockemöhle, all bred by Schockemöhle at his Gestüt Lewitz.
