Lilly Geitner and Banks Mill Take Command in $10,000 USHJA National 3’ Jr/Am Hunter Derby

Lilly Geitner made a triumphant return to the winner’s circle aboard Banks Mill, capturing top honors in the $10,000 USHJA National 3’ Junior/Amateur Hunter Derby at World Equestrian Center – Ocala.
A field of 18 skilled junior and amateur riders gathered in the WEC Stadium to contest the prestigious class, but it was Geitner and the seasoned 14-year-old Warmblood gelding, owned by Daniel Geitner, who rose to the occasion.
The pair delivered a polished and composed first round, scoring an 85 and positioning themselves well for the handy. In the second round, Geitner showcased her horse’s brilliance and her own accuracy, earning the top handy score of 91.
With a two-round total of 176, Geitner and Banks Mill secured the win with confidence, marking another highlight in the gelding’s successful derby career.
