Mckayla Langmeier and Jiselle NS Claim Wellington's first Grand Prix of 2026
USA women riders only three to make jump off

Mckayla Langmeier rode Jiselle NS to the only double clear round to claim the first Grand Prix of Wellington's 2026 Winter Equestrian Festival Sunday.
Mckayla and the 12-year-old mare completed the course in 42.459 secs. to beat two other American women riders to make the jump off from the staring lineup of 21 combinations in the $75,000 class.
Mckayla is a young professional, the daughter of parents who are horse trainers.
Jacqueline Ruyle on the 15-year-old mare Cyramo Z was second on 38.027 secs but had one fence down.
Lillie Keenan on Happy Time, 14-year-old gelding, also had a rail down on a time of 41.351 secs for third.

World No. 1 Kent Farrington Wins the WEC Ocala Adequan National Grand Prix

Cesar Torrente of Colombia has been promoted to top level dressage judge, officially FEI Level 4 but more popularly known as 5*. Cesar, 65, is also a judge for young horses and for para dressage.As a lawyer, he was a member of the FEI Tribunal beginning in 2017 and became deputy chair three years later. Cesar resigned from the tribunal at the beginning of 2025 to focus more on judging.
