The stage is set for one of the most anticipated hunter competitions of the year. Grace, precision, and breathtaking competition will take center stage at the $200,000 ClipMyHorse.TV Hunter Classic Final, held during HITS Hudson Valley VIII, September 3–7, 2025. This prestigious event marks the culmination of the ClipMyHorse.TV Hunter Classic Series — a season-long journey where only the best have earned their way into the ring.

How Riders Qualified

The road to the final has been nothing short of thrilling. Eighteen riders punched their ticket by finishing in the top three of one of six qualifying classes held throughout the season. Joining them will be last year’s defending champion, Brian Feigus aboard Four Aces, who automatically qualified as the reigning titleholder. Together, they make up a powerhouse 19-rider field, ready to battle for one of the biggest hunter purses in the country.

The Course: Classic Tradition, Elevated

Once inside the ring, riders will showcase their skills on a single-round course featuring 8–12 traditional hunter fences set at 3’6”. The atmosphere promises to be electric as three expert judging panels — including one following along via ClipMyHorse.TV’s live stream — score each round from 0 to 100. The combined scores will determine the ultimate winner, with ribbons awarded to the top eight finishers.

The Elite Lineup

This year’s field boasts a star-studded roster of horse-and-rider combinations who earned their place by winning key qualifiers:

  • Brady Mitchell & Mikado
  • Augusta Iwasaki & Small Love
  • Matthew Jenkins & Asanté
  • Hannah Isop & Lioness
  • Evan Coluccio & Simba de Vinck

All eyes will be on these standouts as they take on defending champion Brian Feigus & Four Aces, who captured the inaugural $100,000 Classic in spectacular fashion last year. With the prize money doubled for 2025, the competition will be fiercer than ever.

What’s at Stake

The $200,000 purse has raised the stakes for competitors and fans alike. Beyond the ribbons and prize money, the Classic is a celebration of the sport’s artistry — a showcase of rhythm, form, and the timeless partnership between horse and rider. The 2025 edition promises to deliver an unforgettable display of athleticism and elegance that will inspire both seasoned equestrians and newcomers to the sport.
