Izzy Beisel and Contigo Soar to Victory in the WEC National Grand Prix

As the fastest of just two double-clear rounds in the jump-off, Izzy Beisel and Contigo, a 12-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, won the $40,000 World Equestrian Center (WEC) Genevieve's National Grand Prix Sunday, clocking in more than three seconds faster than the nearest competitor.

The red and yellow ribbons go to:

Dorothy Douglas and MTM Pablo, a 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding, were the only other double-clear round in the jump-off, finishing in second place.

Kama Godek and the 12-year-old Oldenburg mare Conny 149 were the fastest four-faulters in the jump-off, placing third in the 1.45 meter class in the WEC Grand Arena at the end of week four of the Winter Spectacular.

In the field of 17, five advanced to the jump-off.

Sharn Wordley finished sixth as the fastest four-faulter in the first round.
