A Week of Consistency and Success

It was a week of consistency and success for Scott Lenkart and Eyckenhoeve Group Inc.’s Origi Van’t Roosakker (Echo Van T Spieveld x Locosta Van T Roosakker) at World Equestrian Center – Wilmington (WEC). The pair delivered double-clear efforts in both of their featured classes during Midwest Indoors I, earning a third-place finish earlier in the week before returning to capture the win in the $30,000 CWD Grand Prix.

Technical Course Tests the Field

Bobby Murphy’s (USA) technical track set the stage for an exciting conclusion to the week’s competition, yielding only two clear rounds to advance to the jump-off. Kama Godek was first to return aboard her own Lady Stakkata (Stakkato x Lady Levisto 2). The 10-year-old Holsteiner mare set the standard with a smooth double-clear performance in 35.96 seconds.

Lenkart Delivers for the Win

Determined to take the win, Lenkart piloted Origi Van’t Roosakker with precision and efficiency, stopping the clock just fractions faster in 35.438 seconds to secure the top spot.

Strong Performances Round Out the Podium

Rounding out the podium, Lani Hutchison and her 12-year-old Selle Français gelding, Duc De Jentiere (Vagabond De La Pomme x Unic De La Gentiere), delivered the quickest four-fault round to take third place.

A Standout Finish to the Week

Lenkart’s victory capped a standout week of competition, underscoring his partnership with Origi Van’t Roosakker and their consistent form in the WEC grand prix ring.
