Second Day at WEF, Second Win for Sydney Shulman Desiderio
Desiderio and Eyepop Semillly Prevail in the CSI2* Speed Class

Sydney Shulman Desiderio and Eyepop Semilly earned a blue ribbon for the second day in a row at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington. This time, it was in today's (Thursday's) CSI2* $6,000 Chrome Horse Tequila Speed class.
The pair won the CSI2* $6,000 Chrome Horse Tequila 1.40-meter Two Phase at WEF on Wednesday.
Rounding out the top three
Wilton Porter and Lupina Colada, a10-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare, finished in second place, a bit more than half a second out of first, yet nearly two seconds ahead of third.
Sterling Malnik and the14-year-old Selle Francais gelding Cap du Marais took third in the 1.45-meter class.
In the field of 26, 19 horse-and-rider pairs went double clear. France's Nicolas Paillot and Fair Play du Priel were the fastest four faulters (4/57.64) and finished in 19th.
