Meagan Davis wins Ocala's CDI3* Grand Prix

Meagan Davis on Toronto Lightfoot has won Ocala's World Equestrian Center’s CDI3* Grand Prix for the partnership’s fourth international competition victory in two months.

The score of 68.935% for the rider based in Loxahatchee, Florida and the 13-year-old gelding sired by Totilas was the highest of 13 rides in two Grand Prix.

Meagan and Toronto Lightfoot finished atop the lineup of four horse and rider combinations in the qualifier for the Freestyle. The duo that began Big Tour in September, 2024 won two CDI3* starts at this same show grounds in mid-December and a CDI3* Grand Prix Special at Wellington’s Global Dressage Festival two weeks ago.

Leonardo Antonio Godoy, competing at Big Tour for the first time outside his native Argentina, was runner-up on the 10-year-old stallion Marques Do Lis on a personal best 68.043%.

Jodie Kelly-Baxley of Destin, Florida on Grayton Beach, 15-year-old gelding,won the Grand Prix qualifier for the Special on a score of 67.609%.

Ellesse Gundersen of Wellington and Quintessential 4, 12-year-old gelding, was runner-up on 66.522%.
