Nayel Nassar Celebrates Thanksgiving With Wellington Win on Dorado de Riverland

Nayel Nassar celebrated Thanksgiving with victory on Dorado de Riverland in the $32,000 CSI4* Holiday & Horses Two-Phase Special at Wellington International.

Nayel of Egypt and the 12-year-old gelding was one of 16 in the starting lineup of 48 combinations to go clear in the 1.45-meter competition. The pair's jump off time of 36.31 secs beat the runner-up by more than two seconds.

Jad Dana of Lebanon on Leonidas, nine-year-old gelding, placed second on 38.56 secs.

USA's Ansgar Holtgers, Jr. on the 10-year-old mare Kantibes was third on 38.72 secs.
