A Winning Start for South Haven Farm
Lilly Goldstein kicked off a winning day for South Haven Farm with a speedy and precise performance in the $7,500 1.20m Junior/Amateur Mini Prix at World Equestrian Center – Wilmington (WEC). Aboard Goldstein Investment Group Inc.’s talented 10-year-old Brandenburg mare, Cinja P (Cascadello I x Penelope), Goldstein showcased her skill and competitive edge to take home the top honors.
Course Tests Accuracy and Rhythm
Course designer Bobby Murphy (USA) built a track that tested riders’ accuracy and rhythm through tight turns and long galloping approaches, setting the stage for an exciting jump-off.
Goldstein & Cinja P Deliver in Jump-Off
Goldstein and Cinja P rose to the occasion, mastering the turns and keeping their pace steady to stop the clock in a blistering 30.156 seconds — a time that would hold for the win.
Close Finishes Round Out the Podium
Just fractions behind, Meredith Kitzel piloted her own Tapalpa LS to a smooth and efficient round, finishing in 30.535 seconds to claim second place. Rounding out the podium, Savannah Embly and her reliable partner Catoki’s Son Z crossed the timers in 30.962 seconds to secure third.
A Formidable Pair in the Junior/Amateur Divisions
Goldstein’s victory highlighted her growing partnership with Cinja P, whose quick footwork and scopey jump make the pair a formidable force in the Junior/Amateur divisions.
