The concluding day of Pferd International München 2025 featured thrilling competitions and emotional moments, highlighted by celebrated victories and a full audience at the prestigious Olympic equestrian facility in Munich-Riem.
A total of 86,000 spectators attended the event, showcasing their enthusiasm for equestrian sports. Jürgen Blum, one of the event organizers, expressed his satisfaction with the large turnout, especially noting the full attendance during dressage events.
Michael Jung and Fisher DuoPower
Michael Jung, a prominent rider and winner of the Grand Prix of Bavaria, provided an outstanding performance with his 14-year-old Dutch gelding, Fischer DuoPower, completing the jump-off in an impressive time of 54.37 seconds, surpassing US rider Anna Dryden by more than two seconds. Jung commented on the event's unique appeal for both riders and spectators, emphasizing the heart and dedication the Blum family puts into organizing the show.
Anna Dryden, who finished in second place, expressed her keen interest in returning for next year's competition. She balances her time between competitions in Germany and training, and she recently purchased a pony for her daughters.
Soeren Pedersen, the Danish rider who secured third place, also shared positive remarks about the event's organization. He and his wife appreciate the venue for its spaciousness and numerous activities. His performance with the nine-year-old Oldenburg mare Tailormade Casallorette PS was commendable, finishing cleanly in 56.89 seconds during the jump-off.
Overall, the event successfully combined tradition and innovation, offering a platform for showcasing a variety of equestrian disciplines.
