Elena Haas Speeds to Victory in $25,000 Currey Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic

Elena Haas and her 11-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding Ogue BT Special raced to victory in the $25,000 Agneta & Brownlee Currey Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic at the Hampton Classic Horse Show. In a six-rider jump-off, Haas delivered the fastest double-clear round, stopping the clock in 34.670 seconds to claim the win.
Only two other riders managed clean rounds in the jump-off. Ariana Marnell aboard Navaar finished second in 35.263 seconds, while Rylynn Conway and Capella Y rounded out the podium with a clear in 38.481 seconds.
Haas’s precise, quick ride highlighted her skill and the mare’s agility, making her performance the class to beat.
