Kent Farrington continues to rewrite the story of his 2025 season. On Sunday in Greenwich, Connecticut, he added another grand prix victory to his already impressive record, guiding Toulayna, his 11-year-old Zangersheide mare, to a razor-thin win over Israel’s Daniel Bluman on Corbie V.V. by just three-hundredths of a second. Fellow competitor Ilan Bluman of Colombia rounded out the podium on Acajou, finishing nearly two and a half seconds behind.
Farrington’s year has been nothing short of remarkable. He’s already secured 14 grand prix wins at 1.50 meters or higher, including top events like the Grand Prix of Aachen CSIO5* and now the Greenwich CSI5*. Across the international circuit, he’s claimed 25 victories in 2025 alone, with four of those coming in just the last month. It’s a level of consistency few in the sport have ever achieved.
While fans are familiar with his superstar mare Greya, Farrington has shown his versatility aboard several top horses. From Grass de Mars and Kanny-Fee to Myla at Aachen, and now Toulayna, he has proven he can compete—and win—at the highest level on multiple mounts.
Toulayna has been impressive throughout the season. After early success in Florida and at the World Cup qualifier in California, she helped the U.S. team claim victory in the Aachen Nations Cup and nearly took the top spot at the Rockwood CSI5* Grand Prix in Ontario. Her performance in Greenwich confirms that she’s not just a rising star—she’s a serious contender on the global stage.
As Farrington continues to dominate the international arena, the 2025 season shows no sign of slowing down—and with horses like Toulayna in his string, there’s still plenty more to come.
