Christian Ahlmann's D'Aganix 2000 Z Dies Young

Christian Ahlmann's D'Aganix 2000 Z is no longer with us. At the age of only 12, the stallion had to be euthanized this Thursday morning due to a serious injury he sustained while being unloaded in Leipzig. As Christian Ahlmann announced on social media, D'Aganix 2000 Z was able to free himself from the truck while being unloaded for reasons that are still unclear. A fall on slippery ground resulted in such a serious injury to his thigh that there was no prospect of recovery and he would no longer have been able to live a pain-free life in retirement. "The entire team around D'Aganix 2000 Z is in deep mourning and has begun the journey home," Ahlmann wrote on Instagram.
