Charlotte Jacobs Tops the $32,000 CSI2* Speed Class at WEC Ocala

American Charlotte Jacobs and Rincoola Milsean, the 13-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding, won the $32,000 FEI CSI2* Speed class at the World Equestrian Center (WEC) Ocala Thursday morning.

Ireland's Daniel Coyle and his new partner, the 13-year-old Zangersheide mare Urville Z, finished in second place.

The placings were flipped last week in the $15,000 Futures Prix at WEC Ocala when Coyle and Urville Z won, and Jacobs and Rincoola Milsean placed second.

Exactly one second separated first and third

In the field of 21 in the 1.45-meter speed class, Great Britain's Jessica Mendoza and her 14-year-old Zangersheide gelding I-Cap CL Z were third during week five of the Winter Spectacular.

Mexico's Maya Denis and Callypso De La Hamente Z were the fastest four-faulters, with a time of 59.58 seconds.
